Esta semana trgo-vos a banda de Billie Joe Armstrong, os Green Day e este Boulevard of Broken Dreams, o terceiro single do album American Idiot. Para muita gente esta é considerada a melhor musica de sempre da banda ( apesar de pessoalmente algumas musicas do inicio da banda como Basket Case serem também muito boas).

O video é algo de engraçado já que é uma exacta continuação do video do single anterior Holiday, que acaba no ponto onde este começa. A musica fala do ponto de vista de Jesus of Suburbia, a personagem ficticia  que está presente no album American idiot e descreve a sua solidão ao chegar`" à cidade", onde vai descrevendo a sua dor enquanto caminha pela unica estrada  que conhece tendo apenas por companhia a sua sombra.

Existe também um remix desta musica chamado Boulevar of broken songs, feito a partir desta musica, da wonderwall dos oasis e da musica writting to reach you dos travis, que utilizam todas os mesmos acordes
